A new Quinnipiac poll Wednesday morning has more bad news for Ben Carson. The doctor is down to third place, at 16 percent. In the last Q poll, at the beginning of November, he was in second, just one point behind Donald Trump. Now he trails Trump by 11. That’s in line with a series of other recent polls that show him losing much of his edge. When I looked at Carson’s polling two weeks ago, it looked like he might be facing a downturn. Now he’s lost between a quarter and a third of his support, depending on how you run the averages. It’s a collapse....

Because Carson was being pumped up by the Tokyo Rove brigade to take out Trump, after which they planned on taking out Carson. It was smoke and mirrors.
They STILL don’t get it.
Because Dr. Carson appears to be high on valium most of the time?
I don’t remember reporters asking, “Why has Barack endured as Hillary fades?”
Systematic media bias permeates everything that journalists do.
Ben Carson played fast and loose with the truth & his lack of knowledge about foreign policy put the nail in the coffin.
I think it is that Trump, for all his flaws, has rolled out some fairly specific policy positions, immigration, 2nd amendment taxes and health care.
Trump has also not associated himself groups like BLM and NOI.
Where Trump has slipped up has been in things like the Muslim celebrations after 9/11 where he has an issue with the number not the fact that it happened. This is much less of problem than “The pyramids were built to store grain”
Lastly Trump has the personal wealth to bypass the normal political process.
I think he self medicates too

Many people who don’t like Trump think he’s a d**k, but Carson is creepy, seems to live in some parallel universe & if he is not medicated he does an Oscar winning performance of someone who is. Something is just really not right there........
Every time Trump speaks, his numbers go up. Every time Carson speaks, his numbers go down.
I’m thinking he’s written himself more than a couple of prescriptions for Schedule II drugs.
Screw the propaganda media. The hangings of Nazis may have ended in Germany 70 years ago, but hanging the Nazi press will soon start up again here in America.
Easy ... because Trump had a message that resonates strongly, and he's pretty much stuck to that message.
Simple:
Trump is more entertaining than ALL of the other candidates of both parties put together.
Even the people who *HATE* him will click through to read an article about him, knowing they will be outraged but not knowing the details yet :-)
Cruz, Hillary, Rubio, Christie- boooring, Carson- flakey with a chance of lucidity but he’s like the doctor who is NEVER wrong and seems uneducable. Bernie has the under 23’s, but how many of them are even going to vote?
Trump knows that entertainment value is better than unlimited financing
