On Tuesday evening, establishment Republican consultant Rick Wilson said the GOP establishment donor class must find a way to put a bullet in GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.
In an interview with MSNBCs Chris Hayes, Wilson conceded that Trump is still a very powerful force right now because he appeals to part of the of the conservative base that Wilson said was activated by his nativist message. Wilson insisted that the donor class cant just sit back on the sidelines and say, oh well, dont worry, this will all work itself out.
Theyre still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, Wilson said. And thats a fact.
Republican establishment figures who have underestimated Trump since he entered the race are reportedly looking to raise millions to try to derail Trump and knock him out of the race. Wilson added that the Republican establishment must figure out a way to find a candidate who can successfully post up against Hillary Clinton because neither Donald Trump or Ben Carson is ready to go up against the Clinton machine. Wilson claimed that Trump and Carson are obviously not ready for primetime.(continued)

Let Trump beat up Yeb! and the GOPee! I want to hear their lamentations....
Really?
I just hope Trump doesn’t “rise to the bait” and deflects the issue of “gun-violence” into ^media being media^. Simple response that says the “urinalist” isn’t propagating an assassination.
I’d end it with, “get a life, fools!”
That was my first thought too. What an idiot.
Well, first, the “donor class” is going to have to outspend The Donald. And he already knows THAT game well, having been on that side of the contest for years.
Because The Donald does not have to respond to any donors, he is essentially a free agent, and as such, knowing how to wrangle a deal, he can meet these “donor class” people at some private poker table and crowd them down just about any alley he wants, while he sweeps up hand after hand.
The Donald does not bluff, he promises. And apparently he has been pretty successful at it all his life.
Now that Trump has Secret Service protection, they need to arrest Rick Wilson and interrogate him to make sure this isn’t an actual threat. If Wilson had said this about Obama, he’d be arrested before he could get out of the studio.
BTW, Wilson is using this inflammatory language on purpose hoping it will incite someone with a weak mind into actually killing Trump/
Or a WARNING. Wow. Carson is the bullet?
America is cracking.
Trump knows it.
They crucified Sarah Palin for saying less.
This creep should be arrested
As usual follow the money to find the motivation.
I know these shills hate it that Trump will not take money from special interests.
Time this POs gets gone from the nightly talk shows, at least...
Rick Wilson will be visited by the Secret Service. One NEVER says, on TV, or in writing, someone should be shot. Some mentally disturbed person can see/read that and go try to do the deed. Wilson should never say that again and I would bet the SS has already been to see him.
Bullet means bullet. Try posting that about any Democrat!
Trying to win the nomination with money rather than popular support, then forcing conservatives to choose the lesser of two evils... Yeah, that worked well in 2012.
I’m sure Chris Hays objected to such an allusion to a bullet.
You know how strict MSNBC is about even pointy fingers like a gun.
I know Chris was alarmed and reacted to such incitement. /S
Did this guy really say Trump is “not ready for prime time”? Wow.
So many so called “conservative” pundits have lost it! They are displaying out of control anger at Trump. I guess that is what happens when their livelihood is threatened. Trump does not use political advisers and is never afraid to hit back at these pundits in media.
Rick Wilson is just another Karl Rove. They are all so desperate to preserve their way of life and Trump threatens that. They seem to think Ben Carson is their lifeboat.
No....you said :”I go back and forth on him.”, which is why I posted to you what I did. :-)
