Burning ethanol produces exactly the same CO2 as burning gasoline. And, growing corn requires using energy, water, fertilizer. And it adds to the cost of food because instead of using corn to feed animals, it is directed to produce ethanol.
The reason ethanol is pushed because it lessens dependence on oil imports. But now we are producing enough oil domestically, so that becomes a mute point.

So is his support for pro-abortion, pro-homosexual candidates, and his view that they are “savvy.”

My wife is about to retire from a lifelong career working in medical offices of all kinds, from family practice, heart surgeons, chiropractors, etc.
One common thread in all of them? They are all run with very poor business practices. But since the doctors make plenty of money, they are rarely concerned about waste.
These are pretty top tier issues.

There is nothing I hate more than violence by one human being on another. That is why I can not believe we kill babies before birth, who can survive on their own, outside of mother’s womb. We should be ashamed of our country for allowing that.

The gun statement was made years ago and has been clarified by Carson in recent months.

He supported civil unions for homosexuals, which was a phony position that just changed the name of marriage, as though a word was all we needed to protect.
