Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign with an ugly tirade against Mexican immigrantsTheyre bringing drugs. Theyre bringing crime. Theyre rapists.that shot him to the top of the GOP polls. Hes been there ever since, despite racism, sexism, and open disrespect for combat veterans. Now, Trump is the center of gravity in the Republican race for president, and his antics affect every candidate, from mainstream picks like Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio, to more direct rivals like Scott Walker and Ted Cruz.
On Monday, his pull got a little stronger. Trump published his first set of proposals, a plan for immigration reform titled in the style of the candidates signature slogan: Immigration Reform That Will Make America Great Again. Neither detailed nor precise, its still stands as the most comprehensive immigration plan yet released in the Republican presidential race. And together with Trump as its spokesman, the plan is poised to move the GOP conversation on immigration from simple restrictionism to something more punitive and cruel.
Despite his rhetoric, Trump wouldnt deport unauthorized immigrants en masse. Instead, in line with Mitt Romneys self-deportation strategy from 2012, he would push attrition through enforcement to make life intolerable for unauthorized immigrants and their families....

Families kept together is cruel ?
My first thought too. “Astonishingly cruel” at that.
My very first thought!
Typical liberal attempts at brainwashing.
If Hispanics start voting Republican, liberals will suddenly discover illegals are the most evil people on earth, and will hunt them down with dogs.
Think how much they hate ANYONE who doesn’t vote their way. They are complete lying frauds.
Astonishingly cruel.
Send the writer to Mexico to observe their border protection and immigration laws in action.
Democrats hate immigrants because they get to America and seek out the American dream. They love illegal immigrants because they get to America and live on the dole.
And in exchange, all the rats want is their vote.
Its 'cruel' to want defined borders.
hehehe...it is fun watching the wheels come off of these LibTards, the progressive Left, and the RINOs who are desperately trying to find some way...any way...to attack Trumps announced immigration plan.
But they are all going to fail.
It’s because in their tensile world and ivory towers they have lost total, complete tough with the American people.
The American people KNOW that Trump is boisterous. They know he is completely outspoken. They know he says offensive things. But they are supporting him any way.
That’s because he has detailed an immigration plan that the common man on the street has been begging for, for years. A policy that finally turns this asinine policy of the last decades on its ear and does what MOST AMERICANS want done. That is:
- Close the border.
- Get the illegals out of here.
- Shut off the ludicrous anchor baby provision that draws them here.
- Make the Worker visa program something that only attracts really good workers that the companies are willing to PAY a high price for, and thus gives Americans a chance to take the other jobs.
Most people I know APPLAUD what Trump has proposed. They know intrinsically that this will be very good for our nation and stop the hemorrhaging of our sovereignty.
They DO NOT CARE that a boisterous, outspoken, in your face Trump is proposing it. They believe he will actually do it! They know that he will not be cowed by the media, the LibTards, or the RINOs...and this is what they want.
But the tensile world and ivory towers cannot conceive of this. They are used to someone backing down when in their fire. Of people supporting their “polls”, their “focus groups BS,” etc.
Hehehe...but not this time.
Slate! You thieves don't have a right to be generous with other people's money. If you want to feel generous rather than "cruel" (as if denying people something they are not entitled to is cruel) USE YOUR OWN MONEY!!!!
The reason Mexico has no opportunities is because of the Socialist mindset of most Mexicans. If US Citizens occupied Mexico, it would be a prosperity zone as would any country which embraced our ideas... Well, what Used to be our ideas.
Funny how the libs always forget to add the word ILLEGAL.
Cruel to who? Non citizens breaking the law. Fair to who? citizens obeying the law.
Nothing cruel about following the law. Those that do not want to follow the law are un-American.
Somehow enforcing an 85,000 page tax system by force of arms is acceptable, but expecting people who entered the country illegally or over stayed their visa to leave and get in line to return is somehow astonishingly cruel.
Just WOW!
Question 1 to Slate writer: Do you lock your door?
Question 2 to Slate writer: Why cannot we lock ours, Obamahole?
Question 3: When you find someone in your home, do they have a right to stay there?
Question 4: Why are you consuming oxygen?
It’s not cruel for illegal invaders to take our country and freedoms away from us?
My heart just pumps purple pumpkin piss for those poor democrat party sponsored invaders.
Trump’s plan is really not cruel at all. Polling I’ve heard about on Rush shows most Americans favor harsher plans than Trump’s. It’s just so good to have someone like Trump come out and lead real Americans. Until now there has been a complete true American leader, probably since Reagan.
Meanwhile, we have the likes of Jeb leading the Mexican Revolution on our very own soil selling it as an act of love.
Leftists will identify with anyone else before they empathize with their countrymen.
Nothing cruel about Trump’s immigration plan. It is better than anybody else’s. However, Obama’s present immigration plan is extremely cruel to law-abiding citizens.
Heh! Make me wear a “Cruel” badge. See if I care.
