Popular Sen. Elizabeth Warren, still being urged to run for president, is calling Republican White House hopefuls Sen. Ted Cruz and front-runner Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker "scary," two potential presidents that could undo a decade of Democratic policies.
"Just the thought of a possible President Ted Cruz or President Scott Walker is scary," she warned in an email to supporters.
"But here's something even scarier: A President Ted Cruz or President Scott Walker with a Republican-controlled Senate confirming extremist judges, repealing health care and financial reform, and rigging the system even further for the rich and the powerful," she added in a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Some polls show the Democrats falling short of expectations of taking control of the Senate in 2016, and Warren is one of the party's stars in the chamber.
Her warning focused on the possibility of a GOP president and Congress making major changes after the election, much the way President Obama and congressional Democrats used their control of Washington to push through Obamacare and several stimulus programs.
She also conceded that "2014 was a bad year for Democrats" when they lost control of the Senate. She blamed a lack of fundraising and apparently weak campaigns, noting that successors worked overtime to win.
Her email:

That's why I'm committed to working with the DSCC to take back the Senate in 2016.
But this effort will take more than just me. It will take you, too. So please, will you pitch in $3 before the deadline in 9 hours?
There's no way to sugarcoat this: 2014 was a bad year for Democrats. We just couldn't compete with the obscene amounts of money that Karl Rove and the Koch brothers spent to smear our vulnerable Democrats on the airwaves at the last minute.
But despite the final tally, there was some hope, too. Some of our toughest Democratic fighters won their 2014 races, and won them big: Al Franken, Jeff Merkley, and Jeanne Shaheen.
How did they do it? They got out there early and talked about what we believe in. And they had early support from people like you to build the grassroots campaigns they needed to win.
The Republican Super PACs are probably feeling unstoppable right now. They think they've figured it all out and can repeat 2014 all over again. But we know the secret of how to stop them: We do it together.
I know from my own Senate campaign that if we all stand up and fight, we can defeat even the most powerful special interests. Will you pitch in $3 today to join me and help Democrats take back the Senate?
Thank you,
Elizabeth Warren
She’s running.
Rigging the system for the rich eh Fauxahontas?
Your up to 9 million and counting.
Get bent you damn liar.
i wish she would run to a reservation and live with her people for the rest of her life.
Yes, we notice that she mentions the only two conservatives in the race. But hey, Liz, you’re not half as scared of having Cruz or Walker win as McConnell,Boehner, Cornyn and McCain are.
it would be a Christmas present. the crap that comes out of that woman’s mouth is outrageous. the media gives her a pass because she’s a chick, and a liberal darling, but the electorate would reject her without a second thought.
The old America where people weren’t all on government employment welfare and the dole along with balancing budgets and a friendly business climate would be scary to socialist.
What’s scary is that a state could elect her senator after she was exposed as a fraud.
Agreed. Making too many high profile speeches for a non-candidate, isn’t she? She’s the one the Clintonistas worry about the most because she’ll have the establishment’s help with campaign organization and especially money!
Bingo!
Classic!
Liz needs to beware of the Clinton Machine.
Let’s end this FReepathon.
To a pathological liar and Communist fraudster like Squaw Spreading Bull, an honest Conservative would be scary.
Leni
she may be a chick but she’s certainly not attractive. her and Hitlery and Wasserman Schulz..yeesh!!
POTUHontas speak with forkalian tongue
I do hope you are right. We need the good squaw to limit the crossover voting in open primaries (all curses be on the heads of republican leaders who allow open primaries).
