You almost never see this in politics. David Krone, the chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D), launches a major attack on the White House in this blockbuster story by my colleagues Philip Rucker and Robert Costa:
At a March 4 Oval Office meeting, Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) and other Senate leaders pleaded with Obama to transfer millions in party funds and to also help raise money for an outside group. “We were never going to get on the same page,” said David Krone, Reid’s chief of staff. “We were beating our heads against the wall.”
The tension represented something more fundamental than money — it was indicative of a wider resentment among Democrats in the Capitol of how the president was approaching the election and how, they felt, he was dragging them down.

Krone sat at a mahogany conference table in the majority leader’s stately suite just off the Senate floor and shared with Washington Post reporters his notes of White House meetings. Reid’s top aide wanted to show just how difficult he thought it had been to work with the White House....

The hail Mary pass would be for the dems to have him “offed” in order to make a martyr out of him.

I know this sounds like tinfoil hat stuff, and it probably just is, but dems will stop at nothing to keep the black vote and to stir up identity politics.
If they had him offed, they’d blame the right, and it would produce massive black turnout (I know they vote 97% black now, but it would bring another 40% of voters out of the woodwork), for the next two decades, with street names, towns, schools, and whatever else named after BHO.
At this point, he is like kryptonite to the party, while a move like ths would make him golden to the party. He’s worth more dead to the dems than alive, same as JFK became. He’s a major liability to dem power, and can screw them for 25 years if he starts a war within his own party, or they start a war with him.
The RNC would be fools to try and impeach him, and remove him from office. It would be a rally cry for a decade about white racism against poor old Bronco Bama.
Just start passing bills, sticking them on his desk, declaw him, and make him work and look like the president of obstruction that he is. He no longer has his wing man Reid to stop all them bills dead.
Start forcing dems to VOTE on stuff, not just vote present. Start forcing BO to use his “pen and phone”.
Really though, I wouldn’t put it past the shady corrupt dems to try and stick a bullet in him. The clintons come to mind. They have a history of people around them dying.

The reaction nationwide by dems to last night’s blowout win for America is reflected in the snarling, volcanic responses seen in the DUmp. In addition to enjoying the many victories for America, I found DU to be a very entertaining place last night. Oh, the schadenfreude runneth over!!

When Reid went nuclear last November, He must have thought Obama had his back with something other than a knife. :). Pelosi lost more than a few seats as well. A woman scorned......
I would warn the GOP what was done last night can be undone in 2016. Two years. In 2 years 23 GOP seats in the Senate are up for election. Not chump change. Leverage for voters.
I don't know how many voters sat out the election, but I can guarantee if the GOP proceeds with business as usual, their majority will be short lived.
I would also warn McConnell, Boehner and Rove not to celebrate the crushing of the Tea Party. I have always thought of the Tea Party as a principle, not an entity. The voters making last night happen believe strongly in the principle of the Tea Party. It is impossible to crush a principle.

In Obama’s defense, he couldn’t very well release funds earmarked for crony enrichment and overseas jihad and other corruptions if he spent it on campaigns!
