If you're going to badmouth my country that way, why don't you go to Europe, where it's fashionable to talk about how Americans are stupid?
And if you're going to accuse "the majority" of swallowing the MSM spin, why don't you go online where there are pro-Obama articles and READ THE COMMENTS of your fellow Americans on mainstream sites like yahoo, LA Times, Washington Post, and You Tube? IF YOU ACTUALLY TOOK THE TIME TO DO THAT, you'd see that the vast majority of media consumers there recognize and have contempt for the liberal bias of the media and the liberalism it promotes.
FRiend, you're the one who is being gullible by buying into the illusion that the MSM creates that liberals aren't the minority. Yes, there are a lot Americans stupid enough to vote for liberals -- but the ones who aren't outnumber them. It's why liberals have to cheat to win.
Yeah, whatever. Been to Europe a number of times (In the U.S. Army pal!). Been to East Germany when the communists were still running it. I WASN’T FLUKEN IMPRESSED!
I have not heard or seen anything that contradicts that statement.
If she ever ended up running for President, she would get even fewer votes than Santorum.
Secure the border , how many decades have they been saying this ? Everything said today reflects back to what they said in 86, only the year has change. We cannot get Obama to enforce the laws on the books now.Why would anyone believe Obama will do anything different ? More illegals will come and more illegal aliens we will be told do not the specific criteria to be deported and thus the illegal population begins to grow again.
Glad to see someone else with an interest in dealing with the real world.
Palin herself helped solidify that notion with the infamous Katie Couric interviews. She was naive to think she would get a fair shake and came off looking rather unprepared for prime time, which anyone should have known would happen.
With all due respect, if you took ANY candidate and allowed them to be interviewed by an experienced, biased reporter for over eight hours, I guarantee that reporter could make the candidate look like a blithering idiot.
The fault was with the so-call “campaign experts” that led her into the perky one’s honey trap. McCain and his people were supposed to be professionals; they wound up being either incredibly naive or purposely incompetent.
I don’t agree. A smart candidate would think and talk circles around an intellectual lightweight like Katie Couric. A smart candidate would anticipate her questions and motives for asking them and respond accordingly.
Sarah Palin didn’t.
If you substituted “experienced” for “smart”, I’d probably agree with you.
The national media, especially with conservatives, is unlike anything a state governor has ever faced, outside of the big cities. It’s obvious Governor Palin wasn’t ready to face such an obstacle that early in the campaign.
All the more reason for the McCain camp to choose a different method of introducing her to the national stage. Imagine, for instance, a week-long series of interviews on the campaign trail with Greta Van Susteren. That would have provided an in depth examination of her stands on issues and would have made her much tougher to marginalize.
But again, the McCain people handled her media appearances horribly. Like rank amateurs.
“However, if she goes completely rogue and starts a third party, count me in.”

I’m in.
BTTT
Like Sarah was new for 2008, we need someone new for 2016; preferably a tall, attractive, articulate, intelligent, confident, pro-life, Christian Conservative male, 45-55 years of age. Someone with a neutral dialect, and can speak to Conservative values without giving the impression women should be barefoot and pregnant.
You ignore the facts.
Palin is the single most important, most influential member of the GOP, in leading republicans and in shaping the party.
Today, Governors, Senators and Congresspeople are there because of Palin's ""positive contribution to the GOP as an political entity"".
As the leader of conservatism and the kingmaker of the GOP, she is the most powerful single republican in America.
Palin is having an incredible effect on shaping the future of the GOP.
And serve sandwiches.
Exactly.
