I don't think we can afford to wait until 2016. I doubt that our country will be recognizable by then. What do you say?

Agreed. Obama will have done irreparable damage by 2016. We need a real conservative in 2012. We can do a lot better than Willard Romney.

We can’t let him get to where Dole was in 1996 ... he needs to be shown the door in the early state primaries!

From the article:
"And, oh yeah - former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney,
who couldnt even defeat a weak Sen. John McCain
for the nomination in 2008 and who has a health-care
problem the size of Texas ...
.... And dont expect Sarah Palin to take one for the team:
Her chances are far better in 2016, and any day now,
shell also announce that shes going to sit this one out.
Which means its 1996 all over again for the Republicans.
Theyll nominate Mr. Romney - Motto: Eh, Its His Turn
- and hell lose in a landslide.
And there doesnt look like theres anything -
or more importantly, anyone - who can stop it."

I was extraordinarily bitter at the GOP leadership for fronting Dole on us. "His turn" indeed. We ended up with 4 more years of the bent one because of it.
I don't like Romney. He isn't electable because since he's been the gov. of Massachusetts, he's pushed through a lot of things that Obama voters would be comfortable with, like his health care thing. Because of that, they won't vote for him, because in there mind, there's no difference between him and Obozo, so why not vote for Obozo?
Another reason I don't like him is because he is too cozy with the left. He had to be to get the things in Mass. through by the state legislature. I don't want my president to be cozy with the left. I want my prez. to grab them by their collective throat, shake them vigorously, throw them against the wall, and repeat as needed until they wise up, stop the gravy train, and close our porous borders. Ain't gonna happen with Romney, which is why he won't get my vote.

I don’t buy Palin sitting this one out as a cold political calculation. If she sits, it will because of family pressures and concerns.
(And I’m hoping and thinking she’ll run in 2012.)

Romney is likely to give us Obama’s second term. The Republican Party needs some hope and change, and Romney isn’t it.

Funny, I’ve long thought the “it’s my turn” candidate was SARAH PALIN.

Willard, it’s your turn EVERY SINGLE DAY to be the biggest tool in the room. What other “turn” do you think you’re entitled to?

I say that the ballot box has never been my primary hope for America, and now is not the time for compromise.
Conservatism will rise to the occasion and if the Republican party does not it is disposable.

We cant let him get to where Dole was in 1996 ... he needs to be shown the door in the early state primaries! The point isn't the Romney needs to be shown the door before its too late. Its that there's noone else right now so Romney's most likely going to be the guy. After him (and he'll lose IMO) the candidates just get weaker. Sarah's not running, and I don't think she's ready. (I'm waiting with an open mind) There's still time for a suddenly ready up and comer (Gad, Bush disappointed me) but that window is rapidly closing.

I didn’t say you were a regular troll, just a “concern troll”. Go on over to urban dictionary and look it up.
