What difference does conservatism make if you are a nation where laws are never enforced?
We are in the place of Iraqi Sunnis and Shiites. While the rule of law is nowhere to be found, we can argue over whether Sunnis or Shiites rule - but eventually we need an Anbar Awakening, where we realize that neither Shiite nor Sunni can do any good until the RULE OF LAW is established. When the tribal leaders in Anbar Province decided they would take a chance on cooperating with US forces in order to establish the rule of law - rather than worrying about Sunni and Shiite militias and power - that is when the war in Iraq started to turn around.
What I’m saying is that we are living in a time of absolute lawlessness in the government and all the agencies and entities that the government impacts. Until we are able to establish the rule of law - and let EVERY POLITICIAN OF EVERY STRIPE know that we are ready, willing, and able to hold them accountable to the law - anybody we put in power will be corrupted.
That is why this is not just a piddly little side issue - a distraction on the way to bigger and better things. This is THE ISSUE. It is a winning issue, because none of the normal people of America want to live in the conditions of “The Dark Knight”. And we see this corruption and lawlessness all around us.
Like I said in my initial post, I was quite sure that several individuals would disagree with my assessment.
I understand your position, and don’t necessarily disagree with the premises thereof. However, I still think the issue has run its course ... and, its really beating a dead horse at this point. The public isn’t on board, and its going nowhere.

Then welcome to Mexico.
How can the public be “on board” with something that nobody in the so-called credible media will even do a half-hearted attempt at reporting on (because they’ve been threatened with extinction by Obama’s lawyers if they do)? If the public isn’t on board it’s because the Chicago thugs have made sure they don’t know any of the facts.
Is that OK? This ought to scare the he11 out of anybody who cares at all about the absolute power of political correctness, censorship, and mafia control over every aspect of our life.
I agree with you that it’s an uphill battle, for many reasons. But as long as I’m breathing and have the chance to fight for my kids to not live in the world of Al Capone or “The Dark Knight”, I will do so with all my might.
So the U.S. Constitution is a “blind alley” and an “obsession” is it? Wow!
WE ARE SPARTA ( BIRTHERS ) !!!
Such a question does not seem too hard to answer, because we know that Obama probably has his Hawaii long form birth certificate safely stored away with his other valuable family papers.
We know that Obama has seen his birth certificate, because he told us so in one of his books.
So, O'Reilly, ask Obama or one his closest people this question: What is the name of Obama's doctor?
If Obama or one his closest people make some lame excuse as to why he can't answer the question right now, then we might have strong proof that there is no doctor name on Obama's long form birth certificate, and that is the reason why Obama and his close people use some lame excuse to avoid answering the question.
