Check that: Romney barely leads among all voters, within the margin of error. But heres evidence, in case more was needed, of how sharply conservatives view of the Cuda diverges from Americas. Among Republicans, its Palin 24.4, Mitt 18.1, Jindal 15.6; among everyone, Mitt 13.7, Palin 13.4, Jindal 12.5.
What happened to Huck, who was in the thick of things when Gallup recently asked a similar question? Palin happened to Huck:

* Sarah Palin 24.4% * Mitt Romney 18.1% * Undecided/Not Sure 16.2% * Bobby Jindal 15.6% * Mike Huckabee 9.7% * None of the Above/Someone else 8.2% * Rudy Giuliani 5.6% * Ron Paul 2.9%
Among All Voters:
* None of the Above/Someone Else 20.3% * Undecided/Not Sure 19.7% * Mitt Romney 13.7% * Sarah Palin 13.4% * Bobby Jindal 12.5% * Mike Huckabee 8.0% * Ron Paul 7.4% * Rudy Giuliani 5.0%
Palin leads among Republicans. Romney, Palin nearly equal among all voters. Huck losing the social conservatives to Palin it seems. Surprising showing by the RINO Jindal. Paul gets 5% of repubs, wow!!!
Alreadyyyyy????
If the Republicans don’t start a taxpayer financed “voter registration” group like ACORN, they won’t ever win another “election.” Time for some cemetery visits to start building up those Republican “voter” rolls.
zero has not even been sworn in yet as potus, and already pollng for 2012 elections... I am campaigned out at the moment, please give it a rest...
What does “all voters” suggest? Did they ask Dems on who they want to be the GOP candidate?
Thoughts?
Jindal is our guy. Hes the perfect anti Zero medicine.
Jindal is our guy. Hes the perfect anti Zero medicine.
Sounds good. I could see a Jindal/Palin ticket, or Palin/Jindal, unless the Repubs could find a Hispanic candidate for VP.
Huckster/Romney warning!
I'm not ready to jump on anybody's bandwagon at this point. Waaaay to early.
Virginia needs to elect a governor next year. Then we need to regain some ground in Congress.
Let the Governors Palin, Jindal and Romney spend some time rebuilding the party before they build their campaigns.
Then we'll see.
These numbers don't jive with the Rasmussen post-election poll of actual GOP voters which showed Palin at 64%.
At any rate, they'll keep polling and the MSM will keep attacking. They're going after her base support now.
On what possible basis do you call Jindal a RINO?
“None of the above” would seem to be a perfectly valid candidate to run for 2012, as there very well may not even BE a viable Republican party by then. ACORN is going to find such an overwhelming number of votes that the Republicans won’t be able to garner even 25% of the vote, and with the cards stacked “Chicago style”, may not even be able to muster a working minority in the legislative branch.
With a little encouragement, it may even be possible to outlaw the practice of conservative principles altogether. That is the direction being taken by the new appointees to the various levels of the Federal bench, up to and including the Supreme Court.
More and more I am liking the sundering of this country into five or six republics, with the varying constructs of representational government being applied according to the expressed will of the inhabitants of those respective republics.

Arizona Sen. John McCain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney were in a statistical dead heat on the eve of the Republican primary election in Michigan, a new Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll shows.
The survey shows McCain with a tiny 27% to 26% edge over Romney
Now, if McCain couldnt win this election, what makes anyone think that Romney can?
1) Jindal’s planning sort of universal health care plan in LA.
2) He’s bought into Goracle’s global warming carbon credit thingy (supports coastal restoration in LA).
I won’t vote for anything less than a real conservative. Moderates need not apply. We are no longer doing battle with the “other” political party. These are not old blue dog democrats that loved this country and it’s traditions and values as conservatives do. These are die hard socialist democrats bent on the incremental destruction of all that makes America great. Current crop of Socialist Democrats are domestic enemies IMO. Dangerous to all we love and hold dear. Our future is in danger with these idiots in control and it’s the GOP’s moderates that put us here.
I vote on a candidates RECORD, Not their promises thus between the two you mention here. Pitch Mitch and keep Gov Palin. My dollars and my vote is for a conservative leader only.
Notice served to the GOP.
Jindal’s also got a potential budget mess in LA next cycle. He’s already looking at a potential $1.3 billion revenue shortfall which could get worse. I’m going to be watching with keen interest how he handles that.
This tells me that the RNC desperately needs to lean on its state parties to change to closed primaries. We’ve seen what happens when the Dems get to pick our candidate for us often enough already.
Do you have links or references for either of these statements? How does supporting coastal restoration relate to Goreite Global Warmism?
