Thompson's video utilized YouTube clips that have been circulating for quite some time on YouTube. Only this time, they are also being broadcast on CNN. My bet is getting this negative information out is a lot better use of his time than merely putting out some puff-piece ...
Its only negative to conservatives. Liberal pubbies are scratching their heads and wondering..."why is Fred praising Rudy, Mitt, and Mike" in his campaign ads?

I thought the choice of videos was perfect for FRED. What more needs to be said? It highlighted the most important points in the two candidates that are pulling the Conservative vote, for what reason I cannot grasp.
True Conservatives could not possible be voting for Romney, Rooty-tooty, or Huckleberry. My hope is that Iowa will open their eyes with Visene and look twice at FRED.
It wasn’t a great choice for an ad in CNN’s format. It had just enough time to attack Romney and Huckabee, but it left no time for Fred to express his own views as a positive alternative.
I have to wonder if Tim Griffin was the communications advisor who picked this ad?
