First thought I’d have would be are the kids ok and did I just kill a whole family in that mobile home. That Big Mac eatin slob didn’t know there was no one at home.
Wasn’t there a book; “I’m Ok. You’re Ok.”? Maybe that is what she read before she (assuming her pronoun) went on her route. Thank God everyone is ‘ok’.
It was the combined mass of the driver and the bus. Too much inertia. The brakes were ineffective against it.

The home owners will be getting themselves a brand new trailer, thanks to the fat bus non-driver.
I would not want to be the mobile home owner if any of the kids got hurt. That owner could get sued for having parked his trailer in front of a school bus.
Seriously, some ambulance chaser could come up with a twisted cocked scheme cleverly worded and convince a jury it was the mobile home owners fault.

Troopers said she was navigating a curve and went off the road. The driver overcorrected and went back onto the road, troopers said.
The school bus driver was given a ticket for going too fast for conditions.
Looking more closely it DOES look like something was around her waist but I don’t see anything like the shoulder harness part of a seat belt. I wonder if school buses have those?
Upon first viewing the video, I must admit I had that same feeling. Having lived in a mobile home, I can also believe that a school bus could drive right through one & cause little damage to the bus or it’s occupants.
Why hasn’t the bus driver been named in any of the articles?
If she was in fact ticketed, her name is public record.
Sounds to me like both the school district and local LE are covering something up...
Like maybe backgrounds checks are not being conducted on bus drivers...?
Bus drivers aren’t being disciplined...?
Parents, you might want to stir your stumps and find out.
