At the very least, Hogan could be for Republicans what Senators Joe Manchin (WV), Jon Tester (MT), and Sherrod Brown (OH) are for Democrats. The liberal party owes its current 51-49 Senate majority to these three members from red states.

Yes. Why Brown in Ohio is pretty confident.
If it wasn’t for judges, I’d wholeheartedly agree. A huge problem is obsma and Biden judges are getting bigger numbers. I’d rather trump have a chance at adding judges. Shumer will never give trump judges. Judges are very important.
I would rather be flayed then boiled in oil than see this pro-abort get elected.
Did I make it clear?
“ I live in Maryland, and while Hogan did some things I really disliked, I will have no problem voting for him for Senator.”
****************************************************
I live in Maryland and I voted for Hogan also. As governor he blocked a number of obnoxious pieces of progressive legislative bills pushed by the leftist DemocRAT legislature as well as numerous tax and “fee” increases.
A MAGA Republican will NEVER be elected to the US Senate from Maryland. Hogan has a good chance of winning IMHO. Although he’s a RINO he’s clearly better than any DemocRAT from the BLUE state of Maryland.
Yes it is, but its not impossible, particularly in nationalized elections.
The GOP should without question win the majority in the senate no matter what this fall.
Manchin retirement alone virtually guarantees this... and hart do see how OH won’t go GOP as well regardless of anything else.
I don’t expect it to just be 2 seat margin, but I’d say 52 is the absolute floor for the GOP this fall when it comes to the Senate.
With it being a presidential year, there definitely is a chance to gain some more, I think 54/55 is definitely possible assuming Trump does well.
If Biden keeps on the same downward trajectory he’s been on through the summer and into the fall, then it’s very possible that it can be more than that.
We’ll see how it goes, but I just don’t see any way the GOP doesn’t regain the Senate... there is just no math out there where they retain 50 or more seats.
Larry Hogan will screw up a wet dream.
if he is elected, he will change his affiliation. i have no doubt.
In many ways they are more damaging to America.
Let's see once and for all where America stands without hack politicians like Hogan. Besides the "R" on their sweater, they offer no solution for our nation.
Hogan may help give a GOP majority, as a Republican In NUMBERs Only.
Not directed to you, but to such posters:
NEVER under any circumstances vote Democrat. If the R candidate is unacceptable, write in Mickey Mouse.
Hogan is a RINO, or the new politically-correct term, Trans-Democrat
Can’t get hopped over Hogan, just another RINO, like the bi—h in AK, Collins and Romney.

There is also no majority if the demoncraps retain the majority. But there will be a lot more demoncrap judges being appointed.
I worked around Governor Hogan for both of his terms. He’s far more principled and conservative than people outside of Maryland realize.
He needs to put on a show and “clash” with Trump to have a shot of winning. But he would be a reliable conservative vote in the Senate for judicial appointments and that’s the real battles that matter.
We need four years of judicial appointments to stop the slide towards insanity.
MD is already anti-MAGA. The question is whether a RINO is better than a Dem. This isn’t like Utah, where we have a choice between RINO Romney and a conservative. Here the choice is between a RINO and a Dem.
That said, I don’t give him much chance of winning.
*Hogan may help give a GOP majority, as a Republican In NUMBERs Only.*
Fine by me.
*if he is elected, he will change his affiliation. i have no doubt.*
Let him. He’ll be like all those people making up false charges and be exposed like the rest of them.
*Can’t get hopped over Hogan, just another RINO, like the bi—h in AK, Collins and Romney.*
A rino in Md. or Maine is better than a rino in Utah. Utah voters can do something about it. So can Alaskans if they really want to. Maine and Md.-we take what we can get. Think Reagan. Too many here don’t.
Sure, another rino in Congress is great for the GOPelite, not so much the American people.
He would oppose those judges. A Rand Paul majority leader configuration would generate opposition by Hogan.
He brings no value to a MAGA Senate Majority leader.
Rand Paul will have one vote for Majority Leader - if he votes for himself.
