The port is the federal government’s responsibility, but the bridge is Maryland’s responsibility. At least it would be if everybody obeyed the Constitution.

Don’t worry. Mayor Pete is on it.

There will be some supply chain disruption but the port will be back in operation as soon as the channel is cleared.

A month at most, probably less.

Not as enormous as forcing shipping companies to be “net zero pollution” by 2032

Someone else said...any flow disruption will be rerouted. Very little disruption...more like inconvenience...

I bet Trump could have a new bridge built in less than 6 months

The supply chain will be restored in short order if the government stays the F out of it.

This guy loves misery. Old Testament prophets were always foretelling misery and destruction but that was because they were under the Old Covenant of the law.

But today we are under the New Covenant of Grace and the job of today’s prophets are to build up, call near, and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3).

Not as big an impact as the clown in the White House has had. The real shipwreck wasn’t the Dali. It’s America.

The port will be open in a month or so. The USCG and Army Corps of Engineering seem to be the adults in the room. The politicians are just looking for screen time.

I live near there. Traffic is amazingly bad. There are two separate tunnels. One should be limited to commercial traffic. The other passenger vehicles.

DOT hours of service should be suspended for all drivers traversing Baltimore.

The bridge should be bid out to private ownership. It’s already a toll bridge so the owner can make up his investment.

Suspend all environmental impact studies.

At any level it will be more than two years.

Drama queens.
They will get the ship channel opened quickly.
The bridge is another story.

I’m sure the Brandon Team will keep that from happening using their incredible administrative skills to correct any problem, just like they have done with the economy, the border, Afghanistan, the Middle East, crime, housing, etc. (Do I really need to put a sarcasm tag on that?)

Oddly enough, there are only reports of the (illegal?) migrant
construction crew.

I've seen no reports of casualties from unfortunate commuters
that may have been crossing the bridge.

Other experts say no. This can be re-routed fairly easily. REmember when the China Virus was supposed to destroy supply chains? We had about 2 weeks of being out of toilet paper and diet A&W Root Beer. Then nothing.

This is more clickbait hysteria.
