Anyone else find that phone solicitors and service desks are now unintelligible foreigners barely able to speak English?

Almost NO ONE who now calls me is a native English speaker, and has NO phone skills. Low volume, sloppy script, and no supervisor who can relay and intelligible message. The same goes for service desks.
When I get a professional, AMERICAN English speaker, it just makes my day.

Doesn't matter the industry or location, I guess these companies all farm out their phone desks to India or SE Asia. It's is absolutely maddening.

My employer has a technical help number. Everyone is American, English as a first language type. The ones I know well are very conservative too, in a deep blue area.

Yes, I have to hand it to Patriot Mobile. I ALWAYS get a friendly, well-spoken home-grown service rep on the phone. And they are almost always knowledgeable on what I’m calling about.

Yeah. In the past couple of years, I haven’t been able to reach a competent English speaking person at the phone company, my dental insurance company, and even lately my doctor’s office.
