I do a tricked up oatmeal at least once a week. Add applesauce, crushed walnuts, sunflower kernels, dried cherries, dried pineapple and a little milk. No other sugars needed due to all the fruit.

Too much of ANYTHING is not good for you.
I just saw something similar about the negative effects of too much niacin because so much is *fortified* these days.
