Yep. That was going to be my post. Now we always have to ask who paid for the study and how do they profit from the result.

Ethics approval

This study involves human participants and was approved by the institutional review boards (IRB) of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We are unable to provide the IRB reference number because it could not be obtained from the official website of CHNS (http://www.cpc.unc.edu/projects/china). Participants gave informed consent to participate in the study before taking part.
