Joe Biden hits RECORD LOW approval rating of 33 percent in devastating poll
Daily Mail ^ | 1/15/24 | Rob Crilly

resident Joe Biden's job approval rating has dropped to a low for any president in the past 15 years, according to a poll published Monday.

The ABC News/Ipsos poll found Biden had an approval rating of just 33 percent, while 58 percent of respondents said they did not approve of his performance.

That is four points below his standing in September, the last time the poll was conducted.

It makes him less popular that Donald Trump, his likely presidential election opponent, who hit 36 percent approval at the lowest ebb of his time in office.

And it is the lowest mark for any president since George W. Bush plunged the depths from 2006 through 2008.

The poll was conducted from Jan, 4 to 8, among a random national sample of 2,228 adults.

It shows just how much work Biden has to do ahead of the election. His only consolation is that he led the likely Republican candidate on a key electability question.

Some 41 percent said he was 'honest and trustworthy' while only 26 percent said the description applied to Trump.

However, Biden fares worse when it comes to questions of physical and mental ability.

Only 28 percent said the president had the mental sharpness needed, down from 32 percent last year, and the same proportion said he was in good enough physical shape, down from 33 percent.

In contrast, Trump has the mental sharpness for the job, according to 47 percent, a seven-point drop from last May. Some 57 percent say he has the physical strength, down from 64 percent last May.

Economic concerns have long been the main factor undermining Biden's approval rating.

The real level of approval must been in the single digit dumpster.

IIRC Bush-Cheney were at around 30% at the end of their second term.

“...28 percent said the president had the mental sharpness needed”

Those 28 percent would apparently say that a cantaloupe has the mental sharpness to be president.

Say what you want, if this is real, Americans are complete imbeciles.

It will be interesting to see how Obama pulls the plug on Joe. It won’t be pretty.

I’ve been seeing this ‘RECORD LOW’ ‘33% approval rating’ in the headlines for about six months now. Apparently they are too lazy to make up a new lie.

I’d say that the only people who approve of 0’Biden’s performance are illegal aliens, people on welfare and people heavily invested in Military Industrial Complex stocks.

These polls don't mean much.

First term approvals:

GWH Bush 60.0%, lost a 2nd term.

Bill Clinton 49.6%, won a 2nd term.

Barack Obama 49.1%, won a 2nd term. [Many forget how bad the Obama years were. They were considered a Second Great Depression era. High inflation, etc.]

When it comes election time don’t confuse approval rating with voting. They voted for this idiot once and will do it again. Just look how often the people of RI reelected him as a known baboon and plagiarist.

And 33% is the “media” stretching it.

Any attempt to replace Sleepy Sniffy with Governor Dippity Doo before the General will likely lead to a democrat schism which forces the Bidens to go scorched earth on public disclosure of corruption among the perpetrators of the movement to replace.

Yes,The Big Guy's puppet masters won't quietly. Perhaps they could lie to him and tell him that his successors will give him and his family full Presidential pardons.

But how do the 15 million non-existent Biden voters from 2020 now feel about him?
