These videos, these programs that are shown daily on Russian TV need to be archived and shown in Russian history classes in 30-50 years time to give students an idea and a glimpse of what Russian society was subject to in the days of their parents/grandparents. It would be like us looking back at cocaine in Coca-Cola to adverts preaching smoking is good and healthy for us.

“We are the strongest economy in Europe”, “we’re the world’s best army” - this is comedy gold. Russia’s economy is smaller than that of NYC (Italy is a true economic giant in comparison, with less than half the population), and their army is struggling against Ukraine (plus half-hearted, insufficient support for Ukraine).
