They keep calling the Bud Light problem a “boycott” as if activists were sending emails and posting flyers. It’s not a boycott. Consumers have simply been turned off by that annoying pervert and his association with the product. Its that simple. It’s as if a bread company printed images of dog poop on its wrappers. No boycott would be necessary for their sales to plummet. That’s what is happening to Bud Light. The image stuck, and beer drinkers are disgusted by it.
That’s how liberals do things, without passing laws. They’ve mastered the art of manipulation of society through the disgust factor. Just make an activity disgusting to do and people will stop on their own.
Just think of everything that liberals have canceled and you’ll find the disgust factor to be relevant.
Beer drinkers will find another brand. If consumption is down, put the blame on the economy and the lack of disposable income, rather than scapegoat the weird little man in a dress.
Not a beer drinker, yet liberals destroy everyting.
I like my whiskey, yet I’m chronic Tex-Mex ad Korean BBQ. So much doc told me to lay off the food. My sodium is through the roof. I gotta start eating salad .
Now it's only hard seltzer like Truly and White Claw!
I tried beer 50 years ago hated it and haven’t tried since ,but Scotch/Bourbon/Irish yum ,LOL
Kid Rock needs to check himself.
We have enough people against us and our Christian beliefs.
There's a correlation with the increase in legalized marijuana consumption.
I wish someone would produce actual sales and returns/refunds for unsold product. There is no way it would have dropped that much each month. 9 months of 25% less sales than the previous month would be a 92% total drop. (0.75 ^ 9 = 0.075). On the other hand it's been quoted at that amount since the beginning, so it could have been an initial 25% drop followed by flat sales. Throw on top of that long term contracts to bars and stores where the sales remain the same but the losses are counted on higher returns which aren't reported in the press.
“...largely due to Bud Light’s massive falloff after its disastrous tie-up with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney,..”
That’s not the reason! Give me a break. You mean to tell me that they quit drinking beer, period, because of that transvestite? I’d say it’s more like the wussification of young males. There’s a million different beers out there for godsake! If you are a red blooded American beer drinker you’ll find something better than near water 4.2 Bud Light.
“Why did we need Prohibition, when we could have just had a few Dylan Mulvaneys?”
...best point of the day!
A nasty product (Bud Lite)..
Marketed by an equally nasty spokesthing.
No doubt this has something to do with an overall industry wide drop in sales.. But really?
It’s Joe Six-Pack.
During Trump, his new-found wealth allowed a little extravagance. Joe Six-Pack could afford a grill, a steak, and a frosty brew.
Now he can’t afford a trip to the grocery store unless he is on SNAP or whatever.
Trust me on this, folks.
So 0.75^9 = 0.075.
Losing 94% of your sales in nine months is a real bad.
(yeah, yeah, I know. I'm just poking fun at the writer's ability to construct coherent English sentences)
Same idea as taking away everyones guns and just let the bad guys have them.
Women have a unique way of solving problems.
And then there's abortion...again...womewn have a unique solution...just kill the baby,
Dildo Mulvaney. The “historic” first tranny RAT suffragette.
Glad people have found. Alife beyond the bottle
What is the actual beer consumption excluding Bud Light from the equation. All those beer drinkers didn’t just quit drinking beer. They went someplace else, so there are other brands out there that are now thriving through the detriment of Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light.
Gen Z isn’t drinking beer.
