A baby owl blended into a Kentucky family’s Christmas tree for days before an eagle-eyed carpet cleaner spotted the bird perched on a branch.

The feathered guest spent four days inside homeowner Michelle White’s living room after her family lugged back their Christmas tree this month – a yearly tradition.

I happen to personally know two people who had hitchhikers on Christmas trees (an owl and a young raccoon). So it's plausible.

That said, anything interesting can always end up being faked for Tik Tok... Won't quote odds, because it seems like fake crap for social media is becoming overwhelmingly common.

Screech Owl. We had one years ago that my grandfather found in his pecan orchard. Injured, so he took it in. Made for a very interesting pet. Yeah, I know ... that’s not legal. We eventually let it free after it seemed healthy enough. It hung around for years after that.

I don’t buy this, its too big not to notice, and I am sure it would have made some sort of noise. A cricket in the house is annoying, can’t imagine an owl.

I've heard of this sort of thing in years past - so it may be plausible.
Of course those stories from back years ago may have been BS - as this one may be.
So who really knows?
