I remember finding an abonanded nest in the tree, never an owl. Don't know if this real or a tik-tok prank.
I happen to personally know two people who had hitchhikers on Christmas trees (an owl and a young raccoon). So it's plausible.
That said, anything interesting can always end up being faked for Tik Tok... Won't quote odds, because it seems like fake crap for social media is becoming overwhelmingly common.

I've heard of this sort of thing in years past - so it may be plausible.
Of course those stories from back years ago may have been BS - as this one may be.
So who really knows?
