Climate Change Is Not Threatening Human Health

The media and their go-to climate pundits reach far and wide to connect whatever tragic event is trending in the news to the modest warming of the past hundred or so years, and they do it no matter how tenuous the connection.

It has become all too common in the media, especially every time another United Nations climate conference like COP28 takes place, to blame every problem on climate change. The media and their go-to climate pundits reach far and wide to connect whatever tragic event is trending in the news to the modest warming of the past hundred or so years, and they do it no matter how tenuous the connection.

Some claims immediately stand out as ridiculous to even the casual observer, like the claim that the oceans are boiling, which is so stupid only someone who has blind trust in favored authorities bordering on pathological would believe it.

Other claims have the appearance of plausibility, at least at first glance, because the logic is relatively straightforward. Even then, existing data often contradicts the climate attribution. Taking a hypothesis, testing it, and then revising it based on the results used to be a thing called the “scientific method,” but apparently many in the media find that too boring and choose to spread unverified claims instead.

One of the common claims made by climate hucksters recently is that climate change is increasingly harming human health.

On the surface this might sound true. One of the examples often cited is that an increase in pollen will torment allergy sufferers. It is true that more plants due to carbon dioxide fertilization and longer stretches of plant-friendly weather certainly results in more pollen from some species. However, alarmism regarding this claim misses the broader point; better growing conditions means a lusher planet...

Global warming, Climate Change,....aka Weather

There is much misinformation about the normal temperature on Earth. Here is some science that refutes the lies:

Earth historical temperature has both long-term and relatively shorter-term variations. Long term variations last many millions of years and are called ice ages and warm ages. The shorter-term variations are called glacial cycles and interglacial warm cycles and are overlaid on top of the long-term ice and warm ages. Many will be surprised that we are in an ice age, but also in an interglacial warm cycle.

The first graph shows the long-term average global temperature view of warm periods and ice age periods:

Note that Ice ages vary in length, but 50 million years is pretty typical. Warm ages last much longer than ice ages.

The second graph shows temperature variations for the last 450,000 years in our current Ice Age which started about 10 million years ago, depending on exactly where you want to specify the start temperature from graph 1. (The temperature scale on graph 2 is the average temperature at the Antarctica glacier bore site, not the same as the average global temperature from graph 1):

The temperature for the current interglacial warm cycle from ice core data in Greenland is shown in graph 3. Note that the temperature always fluctuates and that the current temperature is not out of the normal range of fluctuations. Also note that on the lower left there is an error. Where it says “End of the last Ice Age” it should say “End of the last Glacial Cycle” because we are still in the last Ice Age, just in an interglacial warm cycle.

I frequently update this writeup to try to make it clearer. If you have a comment or suggestion, please send me a FR-Mail.

I disagree with the author’s title. The next Glacial Cycle will certainly affect human health.

If the environmental psychos would take the money they throw away on BS pipe dreams like solar and windmills and use that money to plant carbon dioxide-consuming trees, they would do something positive for the environment while providing more wood resources for mankind and do it in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Nobody that I know finds windmills and solar panels pleasing to be around or look at

Humans are threatening human health. The climate and the planet give zero shits about human health.

Here is what climate change is: a Trojan horse for a Marxist banana republic.

But but BUT i jusy watched a nature show where elephants in Africa are forced to save muvver erff by “clearing out large sections of forests which allows trees tO grow larger and capture more co2” because apparentlY they are so juch wiser than man and can so ehow foresee problems and prepare solutions to them.

Could not beleive what I was listening to.

I just love watching nature shows which preach at us how evil we are and how nature must somehow combat our evilness.

MGM Traveltalks short film on the Glacier and Waterton National Parks(1942) mentioned how the glaciers have been receding since the last ice age 12,000 years and “if there is NO CLIMATIC CHANGE, they would be gone in a thousand years.”

So, no matter what Puny Man tries to do they will still melt away until natural forces hurl us back into another Ice Age (which was all the claim in the 1970s) and it will again be OUR OWN FAULT! Need more tax money to stop it!
