Good for you but it is clearly not the case everywhere. There has to be a reason insurers push MA so hard. The answer is money and you don't bet more money by providing more services. You get it by rationing.

The problem for MA subscribers is that to change to a better plan it is more expensive but worse than that, you will have to qualify, being accepted into a non-MA plan is not automatic.

Odd though, going the other way from Part G or similar to MA is automatic. I wonder why? The answer is money and rationing.

All you really need to know is that MA is an Obamacare program.

An even bigger surprise-—The health PROVIDER you have been going to for years-—NOW is ONLY ACCEPTING some OTHER PLAN.

YOUR plan==travel over 40 miles —one way to “New facility” & start all over with NEW DOCTORS, etc.

When I was working I had a Plan F plan from Anthem. I continued that over into retirement. It was more expensive but better overall. When I reached Medicare age I was tempted with MA but something in my mind told me to stick with the now-grandfathered Plan F (modified) I have. I am soooooo glad I did. I’ve never been denied a claim with it and have never been told by any doctor or hospital they wouldn’t take assignment on it.
