Firefighters made a grisly discovery last month when they found a woman burning alive on the side of an Austin, Texas, road in an upscale suburb – and the victim's devastated family told Fox News Digital they are still trying to comprehend the "incredible loss."
The scorched remains of Melissa Davis, 33, were discovered near the intersection of Mesa Drive and Cat Mountain Drive a little after 5 a.m. Sept. 29 by firefighters who were responding to a 911 call of a grassfire, according to the Austin Police Department.
"It’s an incredible loss for all of us," said Davis's stepmother Mary Anne Castles. "We're all going through a difficult time and just trying to wrap our heads around this."

No occipital ridge, no man hands, facial features proportionality correct -- very notable in the 'duckface' selfie pic (barf) in the final pic on the FoxNews article... Yeah, she's "XX". Good question, though.
The last “burning” case I remember was the work of an African American suitor of a young white woman (Jessica Chambers in MS). Seemed to be an AA thing. Might not be in this case, but detectives should look closely at any such connections.

Burned alive? How would they know so quick?
Austin soft on crime and defunding the police. this projected weakness gave someone the idea that the odds where in there favor to get away with this.
Not to long a woman was found shot to death in her car on a service road.
Austin is a puss pocket on the butt of Texas.
