Yes, the relationship between men and women is, or should be symbiotic for God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary (and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified - Mt. 19:4–6), and that complementarianism means that there are certain functional and positional distinctions relative to their design. While both can fulfill most of both functions and positions (some better than others), yet that is not best suited to their God-given design.
Neither sex was designed for war. Neither mind can fathom the horrors. But we can wield the axe, the spear and mace.
Only in the Bible’s prophecies of an ending of all the madness can we live in unison and practice fully the gifts which God gave male and female.
In my lifetime I’ve seen nothing but blood and war. There’s too much Hollywood in women warriors. They exist but in such small numbers as to be almost insignificant. But for soldiers to win a war there are many jobs and some women are better suited in their dexterity. All this to say, I pray for peace, for days we can again be appreciative and laugh at one another’s strengths and weaknesses. This exists only in peacetime away from the machinations of war.
