ORLANDO, Fla. – Grand theft auto? More like grand theft animal.
The Orlando Police Department is searching for a horse that was stolen out of its trailer on June 22.
Surveillance footage shows an unidentified person approaching the parked horse trailer on a bicycle around 3:15 a.m. at 725 S. Kirkman Rd.
The person is then seen guiding the horse out of the trailer, then riding away on their bike while leading the horse behind them.
The horse is described as a black-and-white Paso Fino and appears in video footage to be small in stature.
Anyone with information about the theft is encouraged to contact the Orlando Police Department.
First it’s horse thievery and next it will be banks. Has that what this country has come to? Bank robbers using bikes as a getaway vehicle because it’s more earth friendly?
Horse theft is a hanging offense.
I came here to post this. Horse theft was punishable by death in the old west for a reason.
If this bad person is found hanging from a tree, I hope it is ruled a suicide.

Florida has been experiencing a problem with horse thievery for a while now. Hate to say it but there’s a good chance the horse may have ended up on someone’s dinner table. Happens in Miami more than anywhere else but it’s not out of the question it could happen in the Orlando area. It wasn’t a wise choice to overnight in that area.

Horse must be very calm to be led behind a wiggly bike.
Pass Fino - he will not make too much noise I guess. Lovely trotting horses, very distinctive gait even clueless would notice thinking it is lame. Combine that with pinto and it should be easy to spot this horse!
I’ve seen these horses at shows around this area. They are truly beautiful. It makes me sick to think of the horse being left alone all night long on a small trailer. That was
just asking for trouble.
