And now it’s time for a Columbus joke.

A tourist is walking through Havana when he is approached by a somewhat shady street vendor. “Psst,” the vendor whispers, “I can sell you the skull of Christopher Columbus!”

“I thought Columbus was buried in Spain,” the tourist responded.

“Yes,” says the vendor. “This is his skull as a child.”

I’ll be looking for a hardcopy or physical book on this. You have me wanting to know more about Columbus, the man. I tend to lack the patience for audio books.

Samuel Eliot Morison's Admiral of the Ocean Sea: A Life of Christopher Columbus is probably the definitive history of Columbus. Won the Pulitzer Prize for history, believe it won the Bancroft Prize as well.
