They found a continent recently?
I missed that story.
Wait until they find out that it’s hot, and gushing into the oceans.
Isn’t science wonderful? They just now figured out what the Bible has told us for centuries. Genesis 2:6
Read "The Science of God" Gerald Schroeder. "In The Science of God, distinguished physicist and Biblical scholar Gerald L. Schroeder demonstrates the surprising parallels between a variety of Biblical teachings and the findings of biochemists, paleontologists, astrophysicists, and quantum physicists."
Yes, we knew about this from Journey to the Center of the Earth!
Turns out it was a documentary - like 1984.
Nuts... you beat me to the Once in a Lifetime reference...
I missed that story."
Nasa finds "Water on Mars"
"Massive Ocean discovered...."under planet earth
Does that mean that there may be "life" on planet earth?
So maybe there is water on other planets that is just hidden. Good news, cause I’d like to get off this one. ;)
This is relatively old news. This was reported on several years ago. I referenced this in a class for seminary for a paper on the flood account in Genesis.
My first thought as well
They thought oil in shale rock was “locked up” unti it wasn’t.
It’s been my beliefs that this is where our oil comes from. Very very deep water enriched with minerals from it’s passage thru the earth crust is cooked and oil is formed. But the thought of these basins are larger than surface water is just too much to believe...
“At his house in Rlyeh, dead Cthulu waits dreaming...”
H. P. Lovecraft
Sounds like late night radio topic
“….and the fountains of the great deep opened….”
An Almighty God would have no difficulty putting water where He wanted it and retrieving it when He needed it. The Book He wrote describes the source of the water. Whats to wonder about or discuss? The fact that the Bible talks of the “great deep” is telling In that most people who live and have ever lived think the source was forty days and forty nights of rain.
Indeed. And could do so again, to reset things...
That was my first thought too! loved that movie!
yes.
