Washington State Democrats vote to seize power from parents

While the news media was occupied vilifying the alleged Pentagon leaker, covering up Biden’s gaffes in Ireland, and slandering Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, there are very disturbing developments occurring elsewhere in the country.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that The Washington House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 5599 last week. The bill passed on a 57-39 vote as Republican legislators unanimously voted against the bill.

What does this bill do?

Like all bills of this nature, there is a chasm of difference between the stated purpose and what the bill actually allows. The bill claims its purpose is to protect youth suffering from abuse.

Currently, the laws require licensed youth shelters to inform parents when their child checks in, unless there is evidence the child is being abused. If the bill becomes law, licensed shelters for runaway or homeless minors won't need to contact or inform the youth's parents if there is a "compelling reason not to."

What could this "compelling reason" be?

The bill states that the "compelling reason" could be the minor "seeking or receiving protected health care services" from a homeless shelter or "host home."

What sort of services will these be? These happen to be gender-transitioning services and medications or "reproductive health services," such as abortion.

The House’s version of the bill requires shelters and hosts to report a minor’s intentions to seek gender-affirming care to the Washington Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). The department would then decide if the parents should be notified on a case-by-case basis.

Would it be legal if tens of thousands of parts marched on the Washington legislature and formed a new government on the spot?

The teacher's unions pissed a lot of parents off by keeping the public schools closed during the covid fiasco and many parents pulled their kids out of schools permanently, public schools lost much of its funding as a result.

This will be the last straw; parents still have options; pull your precious children OUT of the corrupt publik skools and homeschool, enroll them in Christian or other private schools or move the hell out of that godless craphole.

So who will pay for the abortions and “gender affirming care? The state of Washington? Will the parents get a bill for medical services? This is abduction.

Within the last two weeks, the Washington state Supreme Court decided that our new wealth tax on stock capital gains (also capital gains on expensive homes) is NOT an income tax.

Our state Constitution forbids income taxes.

In other encouraging news, the legislature banned assault weapons and high capacity magazines. I have lived in Seattle for 20 years. I cannot recall even one in-state mass shooting that involved an assault weapon.

And, a special commendation for our state and county Transportation Departments. Around 2005, King County (Seattle) overwhelmingly approved a Light Rail system that would cost $5 billion and take 10 years to complete.

Most recent boondoggle? Possibly two miles of elevated track will have to be torn down and rebuilt.

Most recent cost and completion estimate - $15 billion and 20 years to complete!

The capacity for the rail system is also absurdly low - I cannot recall the exact number, but I think it is like a 10% reduction in rush hour traffic, mostly because the trains have to maintain a strict space distance for safety.

Oh, one last thing - the new capital gains tax on homes will be distributed to "historically disadvantaged" persons so they can make down payments on new homes.

Thank you for referencing that article MtnClimber.

"Washington State Democrats vote to seize power from parents"

When a given state is having problems like Washington State is, then patriots in all states need to elect new federal lawmakers for their respective states who will do their constitutionally enumerated duty to guarantee each state a republican form of government.

"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphases added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

In fact, since the 2010 midterm elections, all the states could have theoretically replaced ALL federal senators twice by now.

Patriots need to primary ALL of their "Republican" representatives in state and federal elections in 2024, this Washington issue just one of many reasons to do so.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your state's beloved, but Constitution-ignoring career state and federal lawmakers over and over again, expecting different results every time.

”In your face” is our communist masters' favorite tool to rattle the chains of tyranny that they have wrapped around our necks...

No Big Deal!
Our communist masters know that the pathetically servile and indolent Aamerican people will just continue to roll over and spread their collective cheeks...

The registered Washington State voters who voted in the 2022 midterm was about 64%. Many were so-called Republican voters. If those Republican voters had voted, Washington State would have controlled the House and the Senate. Gov. Inslee would have become a lame duck. I am sick and tired of apathetic voters.
