My family keeps me in a phone and they pay thebill. They asked me to go to AT&T to get a new sim cardfor my phone because they are letting go of verizon.
Apparently, Verizon was charging them for 5g service but only delivering 4g.
Ay my house, in the middle of a large city, I was lucky to have 2 bars of service. Now, I have 5 bars AND 5g.
If any of you are paying for 5g but aren't receiving it, you might want to take action. That's why I'm posting this.
Thank you, I knew they were all going to do that. Which means those in the country will be paying extra for a service they will NEVER get. It is straight up felony fraud and misrepresentation.
Defund big tech.
They launder your money to NGO mafias that are slowly killing you and your country.
Buy local.
Landline only.
Everybody out there has a smart phone they’re willing to let you use if you need it.
I pay for 5G and T-Mobile delivers it...but it is absolutely horrible. 50% of my calls don’t go through. 90% of my calls drop before we are done talking. 100% of my calls have severe garbled voices and nonstop “Can you hear me now?”
It’s by far the worst mobile phone service I’ve ever had. My first Moto Flip (a StarTak) phone in 1996 was far better for voice quality and reliability.
I get 5G on Verizon.
I never talk on the phone — do don’t think I have even once this year — so I wouldn’t know about voice quality issues but the service cost is under $15 / month (mainly for web access, email, and texting) on LTE.
I get 5G on Verizon also, but it depends on where you are. In some locations, perhaps just ten miles away, only 4G is available.
Had Verizon for many years. They stopped investing in their network as much. AT&T has had far better service and about the same price. I live in the sticks. No cable-based Internet service. AT&T 4G wireless works great, 130Mbps all day every day. Verizon didn’t work at all, 1-2Mbps, maybe.
My only choice for home Internet is Xfinity (Comcast). One of the benefits of having that service is Xfinity cell phone. I pay less than $16 a month for two iPhones with unlimited calling and text and 1 gig of shared data. If I wanted unlimited data, the cost would go up considerably, but I don’t use my phone for enough data to make it necessary. I had to pay an additional $12 during hurricane Ian when the power and Internet went out for 10 days.
If you have Xfinity Internet and you are paying Verizon rates and don’t use much data, Xfinity cell service is the least expensive option I have found. I only use two phones but I could have up to five for about $2 more per phone.
You talk....on your phone? I never thought of doing that.
I have 5G but don’t really use it.
Going to take care of that this weekend. I always go to a Verizon Corporate Store which is where I purchased my last three phones from, so I'm not "stuck" with a franchisee who won't do anything.
I do know that if I go outside and into my backyard I can get 5G pretty reliably, but inside my house? Nope.
Lol…many times I have thought that the phone app on the device is a weak afterthought.
Ford Model T or nothing!
