If the current power grid can't handle a night of 20 degrees temperatures without rolling blackouts, how are we going to plug in 100 million electric cars at night?
Google reports that 278 million vehicles were registered in 2021. When gas/diesel vehicles are banned, the load on the power grid is going to be massive. Winter a year previous proved the Texas power grid could not hold up.
