An article on citizenship kinds, especially for St. Patrick’s Day
(Mar. 18, 2023) — (17 Mar 2023) — Regarding the term “natural born citizen” (NBC) in our U.S. Constitution’s presidential eligibility clause and Principles of Natural Law, it is not a very limited club and category of citizenship. In fact it is exactly the opposite. NBCs are the most common, garden variety, most populous group or kind of citizenship that exists in a typical nation and is typically by far the most populous kind, group, or class of citizenship in virtually all nations.
Thus in our United States, we have a very, very large pool of NBCs from which to choose a President and Command in Chief of our military. We don’t need to search the ranks of those with foreign allegiances and foreign influence and foreign powers claims on them by birth such as Barack Hussein Obama and Kamala Harris have. The pool of NBCs is vast in our nation. As in this article’s title and analogy: “Natural Born Citizens Are The 3 Leaf Clover Kind of Citizens Not The 4 Leaf Clover Kind”, they are not rare but the most frequently occurring type in nature and a nation.” Those that are born in the country to two citizens (natural born, born, or naturalized citizens themselves) of the country when their child is born in the country, i.e., the “natural born citizens” are the largest group/kind of citizens in this country and in any nation. In my lifetime, we have chosen poorly, especially in recent times that most boomers became eligible to vote The two best were Reagan & Trump. Both Bushes (father & son) turned out to not be what the people thought they were. But it didn't become totally apparent until the people elected Obama, who played a major role in the destruction of America. Neither said a peep about his presidency, but they couldn't shut up when it came to Trump.
Nixon was his own downfall, though he was a better president than history has portrayed him as.
Ike was another good president, but he was before boomers could vote.
The one Democrat that was in the running, was JFK, but he blew it when he allowed government workers to unionize, for that allowed governments to become corrupt with too much power. The Democrats recognized the value & seized upon it, while the Republicans ignored the potential.

At birth, separated by at least one generation from any overseas loyalty or attachment.
How is this so hard to understand?
I feel compelled to also point out that a parent(s) born in U.S. Territories are not considered born within the jurisdiction for Art. II, §1, cl. 5 purposes unless Congress has specifically passed legislation to that effect. I am thinking specifically of Tulsi Gabbard.

Yes. A "natural born citizen," within the meaning of the Constitution, is someone who is deemed a citizen at birth. The other side of that same coin is that anyone who isn't deemed a citizen at birth but, rather, needs to undergo a "naturalization" process, pursuant to whatever specific process federal law may provide at the time of that person's birth -- those laws have changed from time to time -- in order to be considered a "citizen," isn't a "natural born citizen."
There's no more to it than that, no matter how much some whack-jobs may wish to think otherwise, and contort history and the law to get there.
By way of application, were it the case that Barack Obama had not been born in Hawaii -- say, that he was born in Vancouver, Canada; the oft-asserted "Kenya" angle is preposterous but, interestingly, the Vancouver scenario is rather less so -- then, under the federal law applicable in 1961, he would not have been a "natural born citizen." That is because, as of the date of Obama's birth, his mother, Ann Dunham, while born in Kansas, and thus a U.S. citizen, had not been a U.S. citizen for "at least five years after having reached the age of 14" -- Ms. Dunham (born November 29, 1942), was aged only 18 years, eight months, and six days as of the date she gave birth to Barack Obama on August 4, 1961 -- which is what federal law required at the time, in the specific circumstance where, as was the case here, the father of the child was not himself a U.S. citizen (as Barack Obama, Sr. was not).
Thus, had Barack Obama been born in, say, Canada under those circumstances, he would not have been a "natural born citizen" because, per federal law at the time, he would not have been deemed a citizen automatically upon his birth. Ms. Dunham would have had to have followed some further process to have her son thereafter "naturalized."
Strange, and rather quirky, but true.
That is one way to look at it. Another way is that the citizens of all US territories are US citizens, except for citizens of American Samoa, where Gabbard was born, because Congress didn’t pass such legislation. Gabbard’s parents were both American citizens, so by most accounts that could still make her eligible for the presidency.

Yes, Tulsi Gabbard is another one who is a Citizen but not a “natural born Citizen”. Her father was Samoan and was a “U.S. National” per man-made naturalization law, i.e., Title 8 Section 1401, a group naturalization act of Congress (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1401) but her father was not a U.S. Citizen. Tulsi Gabbard, while talking the right talk lately about what is wrong with our country, has a history and past of being associated with and part of the communist far-leftist activists and their agenda to get the country into the bad shape it is today. I definitely agree that there's a gray area in regard to foreign born with foreign parentage. Ted Cruz is another example. Had he been elected president, undoubtedly, he would've faced challenges to his eligibility, challenges that had more merit and would've been taken more seriously than any faced by Obama.
Here's the rub. Who is on the hook to enforce eligibility? Is it state election officials? The Electoral College? SCOTUS? Or the voters themselves?
I also agree that the "born in Kenya" narrative was totally absurd. Why would've Obama's mother fly by herself, as a teenager, from modern, safe Hawaii to deliver her baby in a mud hut in Kenya, and then enter into a conspiracy to make it look as if he was born in Honolulu? Just completely ridiculous.
Nobody had a better gig than Mike Zullo of the "Cold Case Posse" who crowdsourced an adventure looking for Obama's birth certificate from various daquiri bars on the sunny beaches of Waikiki.
I know him only in passing, but my BFF knows a lot about him. She ran her own Birther Think Tank, and she says he was a hoot!
