“The Eurasian eagle-owl is one of the larger species, with a wingspan of up to 2m, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society.”

Large enough to fly off with AOC, Nadler, or Schumer? Are they too big of RATS?

Monitor it for distress? Are you kidding me? Its a freakin owl. It is a wild animal that is killing rats. It will be fine.

Not to mention that several weeks attempting to capture it was unsuccessful.

I have read about the owners of rat terriers and similar breeds who meet at night in the NYC and let their dogs do their thing, killing rats, which they do very successfully. There has been fear expressed about the threat to the dogs’ health from the rats’ consumption of pesticides but from what I have read this has not materialized into any harm to the dogs. (You can probably find the articles I am referring to via Google. Fun stuff!)

bob - the eagle-owl's range is far more than Russia alone

The vast majority of eagle-owls live in Continental Europe, Scandinavia, Russia (which is almost certainly where the peak numbers and diversity of race occurs), and Central Asia.[1] Additional minor populations exist in Anatolia, the northern Middle East, the montane upper part of South Asia, China, Korea and in Japan; in addition, an estimated 12 to 40 pairs are thought to reside in the United Kingdom as of 2016 (where they are arguably non-native), a number which may be on the rise

Many years ago my wife and I we camping at night in woods near a river. As she went off to get some water from a nearby well, the form of a huge dark owl swooped down and passed over her head as noiselessly as a shadow. It was eerie.
