Unfortunately, they don’t list removal of confounders, but there is an apparent mechanism of potential clot encouragement.
I don’t see this is a biggie, as erythritol is GRAS and already exists in our bodies.

However, because people in the study already had a lot of cardiovascular risk factors, it's hard to generalize the study findings to healthy populations.

Also, the people they looked at were probably reducing sugars to help with critical health issues.
Again, not removing confounding variables makes this a trash study.

But WHO OK’d it for the Market WITHOUT these finding? THE FDA?????
To: Red Badger
Erythritol isn’t found in the low carb foods I eat. I’ve mostly seen it in diabetic candies. The couple times I’ve tried it, it was no mas for me!

Anything but the vax.

Name brand is Truvia. Never knowingly tried it.
To: Roadrunner383
THAT's what I was looking for.
I'm a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic and I have Truvia as well as a WalMart generic . . . I'll check them out.
But the questions remains . . . What DO diabetics do for sweetener ?

I've made milk chocolate from erythritol that you would find indistinguishable from milk chocolate made from cane sugar.
I also have Factor V Leiden, so this actually concerns me a bit.

They found the fall guy for the clot shot.
To: Roadrunner383
I’ve seen Truvia but also have never bought any. I’ll stick with sucralose since I haven’t had a bad reaction to that.
