Well my friend look to central Asia in Afghanistan already as the US pulled out Islamic State moved in.
IS cropped up in Syria following the Russian and Iranian intervention to help President Assad stop the jihadists the US, UK and Gulf Arabs put up (Bin Laden Al Qaeda followers) for the task.
Then as Assad’s prospects were looking this new more virulent, more militant jihadist faction came on the scene.
Became a trigger for Obama to send US forces into Iraq and Syria to help with the fight now our troops occupy the oil field in NE Syria.
But getting back to IS in the Shamima Begum case the woman fighting to keep British citizenship after joining ISIS.
Well when that girl was 15 she and another underage girl were smuggled into Syria to join ISIS by a Canadian intelligence operative.
Canadian intelligence works with the UK and US.
As far as I’m concerned we helped to create ISIS for Syria but there is a China mission for ISIS.
Afghanistan borders China and nearby Central Asian nations border Russia and China.
ISIS is doing bombings of Shia mosques on Fridays to stir up conflict between Iran and Afghanistan perhaps.
But see ISIS if it can a foothold in central Asia it can hurt both Russia and China think the Uighur Muslims championed in Western media reports.
If that becomes a reality isn’t obvious who ISIS really works for.
