There are actually two strong storm systems, one over Montana, and the other just north of Michigan.
There are also two storm systems in the south that do not appear to be as strong but are producing high winds and with it many red flag warnings for fire watches. The temperatures are not going to be high so the winds will make it feel colder.
It’s a very active weather map across the whole country.

So George Noory is responsible for this storm? Is he in charge of the weather machine now?

The pit of winter, mid-January to mid-February, has passed, and the rewarming of the Northern hemisphere with returning moisture fuels what may be the worst snowstorms of the season, lasting well into April.
Yet it is almost all melted away by the first of July.

Seattle forecast...
High Temps - Wednesday 38 - Thursday 36 - Friday 38
Normal High Temp - 51
Low Temp Thursday - 21
1894 Record Low - 21
Considering our official Temps are recorded about 100 feet away from a SeaTac Airport runway, that is pretty impressive cold weather.

Winter storms are so unusual this time of the year, the only possible explanation has got to be glow-bull warming. /sarc/
We need more EV’s to help combat winter storms. When they catch fire they will melt the snow off your yard, inside your garage and even off the roof of your home.

“The chance of this storm and others to bring snow and/or ice to Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia is very low through the first part of March,”In other words, it'll impact a large portion of the United States, that is "large" as if you need to use a push mower to take care of it.
It'll impact very few Americans. I could care less about snow falling on unplanted farm land.

Anyone else notice storms can’t seem to get past Yellowstone? They barrel in from NW, hit an invisible wall over the park and break up. The last storm actually reversed track and moved west back into Idaho.
