As soon as I read “Ellijay”, I started laughing. This is North Georgia, not too far from me. This is not far from McCayesville Drug & Gun (”Pistols or Prozac - Dispensing Happiness”). EVERYONE in North Georgia is well armed! There aren’t many places I would consider more so. It’s a really stupid place to be pulling a gun on people in commission of a crime.
I’m reminded of the robbery scene in “Code of Silence” - I’d post the clip but there’s too much foul language for a family-friendly site (per JimRob’s appropriate rules - I had just looked at it - it makes me laugh though
i doubt that the police have any evidence to charge the woman with anything (unless she voluntarily confessed)
Three armed customers. One armed suspect. No shots, suspect disarmed, then taken into custody by police.............and released a short time later to do it again

I believe Andrew Clyde of Clyde’s Armory represents that area. Almost everyone is armed.
Bad idea. My wife is from Ellijay. A lot of military vets in that area. Just about every citizen in Ellijay owns multiple guns and many carry, that includes the women. I can also guarantee he won’t be released with no bail and he won’t skate with a misdemeanor charge.
Gilmer County is heavily white and very pro police. Makes for a quiet, attractive area.
