Meteorologist Janice Dean said Sunday that multiple outlets had refused to review her new book, “I Am the Storm,” because she worked for Fox News.
Dean noted that among the outlets that had refused her latest book was Publishers Weekly — which had reviewed her previous books.
“Was just told that all the major publications that review books declined to review #IAmtheStorm because of where I work. This included @PublishersWkly which has reviewed all of my other books,” she tweeted.
Dean said that she had also been informed that while major book retailer Barnes & Noble had ordered hard copies of her book for some of their locations, they had not put them out on display. The reasoning that was given, she said, was simply “distribution issues.”
But as Dean noted, things only got worse from there. “And @amazon put my price point on #IAmtheStorm at the highest $$ with no discount for a week which apparently unheard of. So yeah, I was screwed from the very beginning,” she said, adding one caveat: “(P.S. I have all of this in writing.)”

But no great shakes, because one thing that is conspicuous about Fox News anchors and hosts is they publish lots and lots of books.
Way more than other networks' anchors and hosts.
Certainly this weatherperson can find an avenue for publication in this day and age.
Probably because of her going after Governor Nipple Rings for killing her inlaws than because she works for Fox.
She has already published her book, other networks won’t review it. The book is about her battle with gov. Cuomo for putting COVID patients into Long Term Care Nursing Homes which killed both of her husband’s parents. It is not just about where she works, but mostly about the light it shines on leftist handling of the COVID outbreak. Possibly about intentional killing of burdens on the state.
Certainly this weatherperson can find an avenue for publication in this day and age.

The book is published. Getting publicity is the problem, & apparently other Fox people have received similar treatment.

Janice Dean hits the nail on the head with her attack on Cuomo and his handling of the Covid epidemic.
One would think you would be sympathetic and agree with her but instead, as typical of the political Puritans on this site, Fox and anyone reporting for them is persona non grata.
But that is what leftist reviewers always do. Ignore anything by a conservative.
So she should make the rounds on Fox, appearing on everyone else's show, where they plug her book.
That's what Fox does all the time. Half their show are plugging one of their anchors' books.
If I’m not mistaken, she lost her father during all the covid restrictions in 2021 and took it upon herself to start digging.
