Russel Pierce was the champion of protecting our borders before Trump took up his banner. SB1070 was his Bill to stem the invasion. As a result he became a national target of the Left and was successfully removed in a recall.
I posted this thread so we would not forget to honor him.

Mr. Pearce found himself in a long line of illegal immigrants waiting his turn to enter the Kingdom. He became worried as illegal immigrant after illegal immigrant was condemned for fueling the drug cartels, for lying, for cheating, for stealing, and other sins condoned by the “culture” of the illegal immigrants. About the only crimaliens admitted to the Kingdom were young children who had not reached the age of reason. Mr. Pearce found himself admitted to the Kingdom for his efforts to confront the evils of illegal immigration.

I met him while working with the Convention of States team. He said that him and Andy Biggs went round and round on the issue with Biggs in opposition . Arizona voted for Article V after Andy Biggs went to Congress
