So Twitter was the FBI's b-word?

The master-canine relationship between Twitter and the FBI extended to big money being handed over.

The FBI seems to have considered Twitter an asset, an informant, based on its behavior disclosed in the latest dump of the Twitter Files.

In Part 7, Michael Shellenberger tweets that the bureau handed out the foreign influence spiel, which was the reason for its task force, and repeatedly pumped Twitter for information about foreign actors.

If Twitter couldn't cough up that information, the bureau pumped them harder for it.

It was as if they had a thesis they wanted to prove and were relying on Twitter to prove it for them.

Twitter couldn't, because there was "no there, there" but rather than conclude that there was no there, there and close the books on the investigation as a useless rabbit hole, they kept at it, desperate to find facts to conform to their thesis.

Twitter tried, but came up empty.

The bureau also spent time on their own side picking out low-traffic conservatives fo Twitter to censor and conducted a "master-canine" relation (as Matt Taibbi put it earlier) with the platform, issuing "fetch"-style orders to its asset to shut down or take "action" on Twitter accounts the FBI didn't like, that threatened Joe Biden and his presidential prospects not because the information was false ... but because it was true.

It was as if Twitter was some kind of informant of the FBI's.

“bureau handed out the foreign influence spiel” then they asked for domestic citizens location and record information. So Twitter wasn’t smart enough to figure this out?

When we see heavily redacted documents, it’s usually because the FBI or CIA needs to hide “sources and methods”.

Well, if everyone is sort of on the FBI payroll, then everyone is a source, and you can redact whatever you like.

Haha, I guess this was a pretty big deal, after all.

What will be done with all this amazing info remains to be seen - perhaps some good will come of it.

Or maybe it will just be a series of thoughts you torture yourself with while you’re waiting for your bowl of gruel at the gulag.

It’s not just Twitter and the FBI. It’s most of social media, mainstream news media, print media, business media and many parts of government. Do you think you can trust economic news? The revelation that Q2 unemployment stats from BLS being wrong by 1 million employed demonstrates just how entrenched government is in every facet of the media. It’s overt with named, supposedly apolitical sources, and covert with unnamed sources and censors. Government is playing both side of the equation. They spew propaganda while censoring facts.

It doesn’t matter if it is economic news, politics, the Ukraine War, COVID or any other issue. Government is attempting to manipulate what people think and control them. They are wildly successful in that endeavor since the vast majority of Americans have been groomed by leftist government school teachers, are unable to critically think, and have a religious like faith in government that is so great they ignore what their eyes plainly see.
