Excellent, insightful article, though obviously very depressing for a Westerner to read.
The thing that keeps striking me every time I read the West’s latest virtue signaling drivel is how self destructive they are and how surprisingly unaware they are of what they are doing to our civilization.
They think in this obnoxious moralizing and repeated attempts to isolate Russia that they are strengthening their global positions when in reality they are destroying our relevance. They are just escalating our decline.
Ask them. Maybe it doesn’t rain in Ukraine in May-September.
Putin is about ready to die. When he’s gone—the new leaders will pull out of Ukraine and the war will be over with a Zelensky Victory. Russia pays up, becomes a total Democracy with leaders selected by the DNC to bring them into the new World Order! Just a week or two more and it will all be over.

It appears that whoever WROTE the Twitter quote and whoever WROTE the info on your link think she misspoked and edited the “officer” into personnel. I think they were probably right. It would make no sense that she would call out officer deaths and civilian deaths, but ignore the MAJORITY of deaths which have been troops.

Yes, it’s clear that she made misspoke. I also believe that she misspoke about “killed” vs “casualties” which, as I have pointed out before, is a common mistake by people with no military background. You are of course free to disagree with that point, but you can’t take her statement as literal truth.

Well, that's the point. The ground is hard and dry during that period, absolutely perfect for mechanized actions. That's how it's always been there.
And yet, the Russians lost ground rather than gained during the prime campaign season. Makes absolutely zero sense if they actually had all this reserve combat power.
Somehow, in Macgregor's mind, it is possible for Ukraine to take 3 to 10 times as many casualties as Russia for ten months and never ask why Russia has not overrun the entire country. That shows Macgregor is acting in bad faith.

The gaslighting fairy tales from the Kremlin cheerleaders never end. They will never admit to losing this war.
It’s quite obvious to me that Putin is being managed now by the EU and Biden’s handlers. Key military aid to Ukraine like tanks are being limited by NATO and Putin is being allowed to keep the land bridge to Crimea. Macron said as much out loud a few months ago. The White House leaks such ideas, too. Ukraine will get a shower of military aid if Russia threatens Kyiv or Odesa again. So this whole “collapse of Ukraine” thing is not happening. Ever.
