If you subscribe to Fox Nation, there's a wonderful series there called 'Yellowstone One-Fifty', about Yellowstone National Park, featuring Kevin Costner.
It's fascinating history and stunning photography. We watched the first two episodes tonight, and highly recommend it to anyone interested in American and natural history, and wildlife.
Is Kevin wearing his “I’m with Liz shirt?”
Not that I noticed.
He was doing a job on this film, and I think he did it very well.
There are probably lots of great films and documentaries with whose creators you wouldn’t agree politically.
Yellowstone is absolutely beautiful. But it’s overcrowded now for many years. Terrible parking conditions at many of the main attractions.
Well, at least it’s there as a National Park - and how it became preserved is one of the main points of the series.

I love that flick “March of the penguins 🐧”. That’s another good documentary if that’s what you dig. Morgan Freeman did a good job narrating it, although I don’t agree with him on much politically.
I loved the penguin one, too. And Freeman is a pretty sharp guy:

Yeah, that bothered me as well
True. I enjoyed John Adams produced by Tom Hanks, although I don’t agree with him politically.
How old is Yellowstone?
It’s in season 5 😆
Sorry - couldn’t help it.
Best time to go to Yellowstone is when it is closed.
We stayed at Fishing Bridge in our travel trailer in mid-August 2018. Seemed to have the right balance of good weather and medium-sized crowds.
Park closes in March for snow removal.
Cody and surrounding state parks are empty.
You can have the museum complex in Cody to yourself.
Don’t tell anyone.
Millions of years?
