The Jussie Smollett saga has come to an end – for now.
A Chicago judge sentenced the fallen star to 150 days in jail and 30 months of probation Thursday for lying to police more than three years after he asked two men to “fake beat him up” and shout racist and homophobic slurs at him in an elaborate scheme to raise his public profile.
The judge asked Smollett if he had anything he’d like to say and he at first seemed to say no before a final outburst in which the former “Empire” actor proclaimed his innocence and seemed to imply some kind of conspiracy against him.
“I am not suicidal. I am innocent, and I’m not suicidal. If I did this, then it means that I stubbed my fist in the fears of black Americans in this country for over 400 years and the fears of the LGBTQ community,” Smollett said.

So he feels justified in what he did because of stuff that happened 400 years ago. That’s sort of the general attitude of all Democrats. They want to be victims so that they can be villains in return.
Maybe he can meet the mostly peaceful rioters they arrest?

I particularly liked the judge laying out the case, describing the damage done and calling out Smollet’s narcissistic, selfish motives.

The lie is as dead as Smollett’s career. He as a no good dirty liar all the way to when they led him out the door, on his way to the county jail. He tried to start a race war and lost.

He’s going to enjoy dropping the soap in that jail’s shower.. Before he “commits suicide” that is.
Schmollietta is going to be back sided for 150 days by one of his protectors in the Big House. That’s his therapy.Although he may nort survive the process.
Out in 90 days, it will happen.
That’s the vibe I got when he went on his “I am not suicidal” rant.
He was hoping for a longer sentence but I suppose this will have to do.
