The King of Staten Island visited his castle.
Pete Davidson was seen at the St. George Ferry Terminal on Friday, admiring the decommissioned Staten Island Ferry he and “SNL” co-star Colin Jost bought this week at auction.
Video obtained exclusively by The Post shows the Staten Island native beaming through sunglasses at the new purchase from a pier jutting out into New York Bay. “It’s crazy,” Davidson said. “We used to take that ferry to do stand-up, all the time.”

Now what?
The maintenance costs on that thing are going to eat them alive.
L
It can’t stay there….
Could he charge people to take them out into international waters and do things illegal here in civilization?
The Staten Island Ferry can join all the other ferries on SNL. That show has been about as funny as root canal without anesthetic, for decades now. The comedy left the show about the time Eddie Murphy left.
I imagine he’s either going to convert into a personal party boat and bankrupt himself or he’s going to convert it into a floating restaurant or other tourist business and maybe make out okay. Time will tell which way he takes it.
Guesses on how much money to realize their dream of a comedy club?
Some people just like to improve “stuff”. Good for them. Maybe an offshore casino??
Ah! Like go to an island in the Caribbean where they can be plied with underage children for sex? What a concept!
What to do with her? A floating restaurant? Tours around the harbor and the Hudson and the East River? I can imagine it will cost a lot just to keep this tub afloat day after day.
They have deep pockets. Jost is married to Scarlett Johansson who makes tens of millions of dollars a years doing comic book movies.
You are killing me. LOL
Possibly, but I suspect that thing will never leave the pier under its own power.
SNL - “It’s sick.”
That’s why SNL sucks.
Heh, they will find out, as H.L. Mencken once put it, “good and hard”!
I think they are making a huge mistake, but...hey, it sounds like a lot of fun if you have the money to try to make it work!
I was curious so I looked it up
WA states ferry maintenance cost is $81.50 per operating hour and they consume between 68-75 gal fuel / hr.
YRMV.
The joke is on him
