We have a full moon right now. Put the scroungy thing outside and see if it howls. If it doesn’t howl it’s not a coyote. Our neighborhood yotes light up right after sundown.

We have a Schnauzer that howls all night when we put him in his kennel. He’s far from a Coyote.

This dog the article is about is definitely a mix of something, and I’d say as one of the other posters probably a Whippet, or a Greyhound mix.

In his unkempt condition it’s difficult to figure what he/she is. So ugly it’s cute. I’d love to have it, but too old, and sick for anymore critters beyond what we have.
