ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Court of Appeals won't order a hospital to use a deworming drug to treat a man who has health problems related to COVID-19.
The court said it won't disrupt the judgment of doctors at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
“A court directive in this matter could open the door for a flood of similar suits from other patients with COVID-19, not to mention other conditions, suing to obtain care that is contrary to hospital policies,” the court said Friday.
The daughter of a 68-year-old man sued after doctors refused to use ivermectin. The man was admitted to the hospital on Nov. 6 with COVID-19.
The man still has severe lung problems and other health woes, but the coronavirus infection has eased, the court noted.

I know of someone who tested positive for covid. The doc prescribed Ivermectin. The dillweeds at CVS and Wal-Mart would not fill it. Had to go to a small pharmacy. Starting to feel better after 48 hours. Science.
One can purchase Sparhawk livestock ivermectin online. Put 1 mL/100 lbs of body weight in 8oz of water, drink once a day for 3-4 days at onset of symptoms. Then once every two weeks until one wishes to stop.
Stop calling ivermectin a dewormer, WXYZ. Whole nations use it for a myriad of ailments. Makes you look ignorant.
Yay Michigan.

Most people with COVID feel better after 48 hours.
Ivermectin won the Nobel Prize for it’s success in treating humans.

The hospital is not in the business of providing patients with whatever drugs they want.
Hospitals are following the Remdesiver Death Protocol because they are paid to follow it (perverse incentive)
I would not agree, sorry. It is indeed mainly used as an anti-parasite medicine and is labeled as such.
And yes, it has some intriguing properties, as antiviral, quite likely anticancer, cf.

And -- as a logical guess -- perhaps a suppressant for vaccine-induced cancers.
But for now it is still anti-parasitic. Just like doxycycline is an antibiotic despite being quite powerful against some non-bacterial illnesses.
People who STILL describe ivermectin as a “ deworming drug “ are right down there with Smollett defenders and Maxine Waters supporters in intelligence.
Sad that medicine became political and doctors are scared off from using what works.
And if a Doctor does not want to abort a healthy 9 month fetus…the court won’t force it…right!
My local Tractor Supply has a sign where the paste used to be telling you the CDC line.
Glad that was not the case in Aug. when I had it.
Kept me out of the hospital.
Should have been able to get a doctor to prescribe pills.

If anyone wants to search the japanese government health site here is everything showing Ivermectin. in Search. I saw several that discussed reporting any adverse reactions. Ivermectin can apparently be obtained OTC in Japan.

Never never ever go to the hospital without taking a course of ivermectin first and having a visitor with a backup plan.
One woman even used the rub on version to help her mother in the ICU
