What about all of those ads that say “get back to what you love”?
Well, there is truth in advertising because one of those ads features a roller coaster with screaming riders.
Those vaxxed among us are now super spreaders.
I think it’s because hospitals treat you on the back end of the illness instead of administering preventative prophylaxis.
If you ask me, it was not a very well kept secret that these vaccines would not stop infection or contagion. They tried to lie about it; but they didn’t lie very well.
The important metric here is mortality rate. Do the vaccines minimize risk of mortality from Covid? But they even lie about that. Car crashes with Covid? Covid death. Stupidity. And then, what we don’t know, is what the mortality rate from the vaccines will be. That may take a decade to figure out.
We went about this all wrong, for all the wrong reasons. The people most at risk should be protected, and everyone given freedom of choice. The biggest failure of all was not investigating with scientific rigor whether protocols including HCQ+ and IVM+ would save lives. There was absolutely no reason not to investigate those and other drugs. We had 100,000 people a day catching this virus so there were plenty of people available to enroll in clinical trials. And the drugs are cheap, widely available, and easy to take. And the trial results would have been known within weeks.

So I had tested positive for COVID-19 in Nov 2020, had symptoms and was in contact with two others that tested positive and had symptoms. So the chance that these tests were false positive are near zero. When I was given the news about the test being positive there was no advice given on treatment. Neither was there any treatment advice when I called my doctor. They all assume or basically tell you if it gets bad go to the ER - big mistake. They will get you on Remdesivir and shove a hose into your lungs and then you are on your way to being "A statistic on a Government Chart.." - Invisible Sun - The Police.

They pooh-pooed HCQ because Trump was for it. I firmly believe that Trump Derangement Syndrome was the reason for thousands of deaths.
Yeah, no doubt about that. But it was more than that. Too much money to be made by not looking for quick and inexpensive cures. And the politics. They wanted to prolong human suffering for political advantage.

There are some exceptions to this pattern, notably Spain, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, whose cases remain low after large previous spikes. But those South American countries were late to the vaccine game, so they may just be experiencing the calm before the storm.
I don’t think it’s only that. I don’t recall DJT ever promoting ivermectin, and they’ve tried to suppress it, too.

Previous research suggests a potential link between hypovitaminosis D and risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection and outcomes of COVID-19.
Individuals with vitamin D deficiency or vitamin D insufficiency may be at increased risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection, as well as COVID-19-related severity and mortality, according to findings from a systematic review and meta-analysis presented at the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) 2021 Annual Meeting, held from October 1 to 4, 2021, in San Diego, California and real-time virtually.
Study authors sought to explore whether vitamin D status was linked to COVID-19 severity and mortality —the primary study outcomes — as well as risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection and hospitalization — the secondary study outcomes.
Original studies were eligible in the analysis if they included patients hospitalized with COVID-19 (with information available on admission to intensive care unit [ICU] and/or mortality); patients with/without SARS-CoV-2 infection; and patients with COVID-19 who did or did not require hospitalization.
Studies that reported on the prevalence of vitamin D insufficiency (25-hydroxyvitamin D [25 OHD] <30 ng/dL), and/or vitamin D deficiency (25 OHD <20 ng/dL), and/or severe vitamin D deficiency (25 OHD <10 ng/dL) were also included. A total of 53 studies were included in the current analysis.
In summary, there a lot of good medical articles re using OTC products (non rx_) to prevent or lessen Covid 19.
