Feel free to post any other ghostly stories you’ve heard or experienced to share in this threa
I read this every time!😆
Note to self: When haunting a house, it’s more effective to target the woman, than the girls or the man.
Our house is haunted. I never believed in this stuff until we had a house built on a old farmstead.
When the house was being built workers told me numerous times the house gave them the “hebe jeebes”
Digging the foundation we uncovered a old hand dug well that had been filled in at one point. We found layer upon layer of women’s clothes from turn of the century.
Our homebuilder was a national franchise builder and would not allow further digging ad they wanted to start putting up the basement walls and they had a strict deadline. Was it an early serial killer? I wish we had dug down further.
The original farmhouse burned down in the 50’s killing the male renter. Our house is built but on roughly the same spot.
We have had so many weird stuff happen. My dad moved in with us when he was dying and came out and said one day “This house had ghost”
So many weird stuff we have seen we lost count
We have never felt threatened or scared
A friend, now sadly departed, told me this story.
He was friends with an elderly woman, and she had an antique wall clock that he really liked. She wanted to keep it but agreed that when she died, he would get it.
Eventually that happened, and he got the clock. He hung it on the wall and after a short while he noticed that the clock would tilt for no apparent reason, when no one was around, no wind, nothing that would have caused that to happen. This only happened a few times then it stopped.
He figured the old lady was just dropping by to say hello.
Thank you for the story. Very interesting. Very well written. “A bloodcurdling scream...” That’s when a Catholic thinks about getting a house blessing or an exorcist. Sad how the lot today is empty.
Good story, and well told, Sword
Thanks again for posting this.
The only ghost story that I read each year.
Thanks for the good story. I read it each year. I’m saving it to send to my daughter and granddaughter.
Brrrrrrrr...
> His Model A truck was gone from the street in front of the house.
If this happened in 1920, then the truck might have been a Model T, but not a Model A. Model A trucks were not made until 1927.
Anyways, a very scary story...
