Victims of abuse within France’s Catholic Church welcomed a historic turning point Tuesday after a new report estimated that 330,000 children in France were sexually abused over the past 70 years, providing the country’s first accounting of the worldwide phenomenon.
The figure includes abuses committed by some 3,000 priests and an unknown number of other people involved in the church — wrongdoing that Catholic authorities covered up over decades in a “systemic manner,” according to the president of the commission that issued the report, Jean-Marc Sauvé.

It’s all a distraction to break the Church
The anti-Pope is working 24/7 to break the church—no outsiders are needed.
I wonder how many of the alleged 330,000 victims were the victims of homosexuals? I would guess 80-90%
If it’s all a distraction the Pope will surely challenge the report.
Hmmm. I am the first to admit that there is a homo-predator problem in the Catholic Church but 330,000 victims by 3000 priests seems like an exaggeration. 110 victims per priest on average? I’m not buying that.
The devil is in the details. 216,000 not 330,000. Numbers are estimates based on models, not data. Bad enough, but who really knows what was happening 70 years ago. Probably worst years were since Vatican II debauched the seminaries. Projecting those numbers back 70 years is sketchy indeed.
As with covid “total cases,” it is wise to distrust the motives of those who give you gigantic total aggregate numbers instead of reasonable detailed data.

Ah, the gay life.
Thankfully, my Catholic childhood was populated with very good priests. But, then again, I barely escaped the perils, crimes, and crap of liberalism that invested civilized life after the 60s.
Again, liberals are the enemy. An existential one.
Treat them as such.
Really.
When did the priests have time to say mass?
When did the priests have time to say mass?
Sorry for the double.
It’s all a distraction to break the Church
The church is already broken.
I’m 79 years old and went to Catholic grade school and high school. Our Pastor in the 40’s and 50’s would never had touched anyone. Some of the new seminarians we had our doubts about. Had priests for teachers all through high school. Never gave it a thought.
And then came Vatican II. I don’t trust ANY of them.
To the Church in Thyatira
Rev 2
18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.
20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.
22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.
23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
